Manage day to day Payroll administration for Brazil and Mexico market. Responsible for processing payroll on time and legal regulations (IMSS, ISR and Ley Federal del Trabajo). Maintain the performance of all payrolls related accounting journal entries and reconciliations, and compliance with all payrolls related policies and procedures. Responsible for identifying and implementing areas of improvement in the payroll area, leading initiatives for systems and productivity improvements, strategic alliances with Human Resources, Accounting, LOBs, and other functional areas impacted. Responsible for compliance with payroll tax and other related regulations.
Prepare the semi-monthly payroll for all Brazil and MX companies. Managing the process of all bonus requests, overtime, relocation packages, expenses, loans and deductions.
Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
Validation of correct calculation for payroll
Maintain correct vacation accruals
Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, and savings deductions.
Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Provide timely reports to accounting department.
Assist with reconciling payroll sub-ledger to the general ledger.
Prepare remitting payroll taxes and government reporting.
Monitor and audit as needed the employee records in the HRIS systems such as pay increases, transfers, promotions, terminations within WFN.
Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll statements.
Work to support SOX requirement.
End-to-end administration of Food Vouchers and Telework Cards for employees in Mexico.
Maintain compliance with current federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Must have
Bachelors in administration, finance or related.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Mexico payroll
Strong knowledge in Mexican labor law, IMSS, ISR, Infonavit, Fonacot.
Process control and administration.
Communication Skills.
Attention to details.
Excel advanced.
Nice to have
Experience in Brazil payroll and legislation.
