Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements

Participate in the review and improvement of test processes and methodologies and provide recommendations for improvement

Collaborate with product owners, developers, and compliance specialists to understand requirements, user stories, and technical specifications

Identify, document, and track defects through resolution

Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, attend daily stand-up meetings, provide feedback, and contribute to sprint retrospectives

Is an integral part of the SDLC process by creating/approving TER (test execution report) for production deployments

Keep up to date with new testing tools, techniques, and technologies to improve overall testing quality

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., AML, GDPR, local regulations).

Must have

Technically we are looking for:

Strong Understanding of SDLC & STLC

Test Case Design & Execution o Ability to create comprehensive, clear, and maintainable test cases from requirements (functional and non-functional) o Experience with test execution, defect reporting, and retesting

Hands On Experience with Defect and Test Management Tools: Jira, HP ALM, Bugzilla, Zephyr (or similar) for logging, tracking, and managing defects and similar or organizing and managing test cases and test cycles

SQL Knowledge (recommended Fundamental Query + DML): Essential for db testing, data validation, and understanding data flows in the application

API Testing Tools: Proficiency in tools like Postman, SoapUI (or similar) for testing APIs (REST, SOAP) + familiarity of API concepts and structures

VCS: Familiarity with Git (or similar) for managing test scripts, documentation, and code Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills required:

Strong Analytical Mindset: Ability to break down complex systems, identify potential failure points, and think critically

Attention to Detail: Meticulous in identifying discrepancies, corner cases, and edge scenarios

Problem-Solving: Resourceful in troubleshooting issues, isolating defects, and suggesting potential solutions

Requirements Analysis: Ability to thoroughly understand and interpret business and technical requirements From a Soft Skills perspective we are looking for:

Excellent Communication Skills (Written and Verbal

English Mandatory): o Clear and concise defect reporting o Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders o Effective collaboration with developers, product owners, and other team members/stakeholders

Proactiveness and Initiative: o Identifying potential risks early on o Suggesting improvements to processes and products o Taking ownership of testing activities

Time Management and Organization: Ability to prioritize/reprioritize tasks, manage workload effectively, and meet tight deadlines

Nice to have

Hands-on experience with GCP
