We're looking for a Junior QA Tester with a strong foundation in software testing principles and a passion for learning automation and quality engineering. You'll support quality activities across web and API applications, contribute to execution of test cases, and collaborate with developers, product owners, and senior QA engineers to deliver reliable, user‑focused releases.

Responsibilities

Test Execution & Quality Support

Execute test cases across functional, regression, integration, and UAT cycles for web and API applications.

Review and understand business requirements to identify test conditions and create test scenarios under senior guidance.

Validate user stories and acceptance criteria for clarity and testability.

Manual Testing & Documentation

bullet icon

Create and maintain test assets such as test cases, test data, and test evidence.

Perform defect logging with clear steps to reproduce and expected vs. actual results.

Support defect triage by re-testing fixes and identifying potential impacts.

Automation & Tooling (Foundational Exposure)

Assist in the execution and maintenance of existing automated test scripts (Selenium, API testing tools).

Learn to contribute small automation components following guidance from senior engineers.

Support CI pipeline quality checks (documentation, running test jobs, reviewing reports).

API & Data Validation

Execute basic API tests using tools such as Postman.

Perform simple SQL queries to validate data and environment setups.

Follow internal QA processes regarding documentation, evidence capture, accessibility validation, and audit readiness.

Must have

Core Testing Skills

1-2 years of experience in software testing (manual QA or internship/junior role).

Understanding of SDLC, STLC, test types (functional, regression), and bug lifecycle.

Ability to write clear, structured test cases and test execution reports.

Technical Foundations

Basic familiarity with Selenium WebDriver or another UI automation framework.

Exposure to API testing tools (Postman or similar).
