The project focuses on implementing data privacy and compliance solutions using the Delphix Continuous Compliance Engine, with an emphasis on data masking, plugin development, and API-driven automation.
The role involves designing and developing custom masking algorithms and extensible plugins using the Delphix Masking SDK to protect sensitive data across structured data sources. Additionally, the project requires integrating and automating masking workflows via REST APIs and CLI-to-API transitions, enabling scalable and repeatable data protection processes across environments.

Responsibilities

Design:

Design and develop data masking solutions using the Delphix Continuous Compliance Engine.

Implement custom masking algorithms and plugins using the Delphix Masking SDK (Java-based).

Translate business and compliance requirements into technical masking strategies.

Developing and maintaining an engine using modern frameworks and technologies.

Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Troubleshooting and debugging issues across the stack.

Implementation:

API Integration & Automation

Integrate masking workflows using Delphix REST APIs and API Client

Convert CLI-based operations into automated API-driven workflows

Automate:

Job execution.

Inventory setup.

Plugin deployment.

Enable scalable and repeatable masking pipelines

Data Security & Compliance:

Ensure sensitive data complies with regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and CCPA.

Ensure data privacy, referential integrity, and consistency across masked datasets.

Collaborate with security and compliance teams to establish masking policies and standards.

Testing & Validation:

Conduct thorough testing to validate the effectiveness of masking solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data masking processes.

Collaboration & Support:

Work closely with database administrators, developers, and QA teams to integrate masking into workflows.

Provide training and documentation on the Delphix platform and data masking techniques.

Monitoring & Optimization:

Continuously monitor and optimize data masking performance.

Stay updated on the latest trends and updates in data masking technologies.

Skills

Must have

Overall 4+ years of experience as a Java Full Stack developer

Java 8 or above

Spring / Spring Boot

Database (preferably MySQL or similar relational databases)

JSON and API integrations

Unit testing using JUnit

Gradle build and deployment

CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance

You should also have experience working on automation-driven projects and backend development environments

Nice to have

Experience working on automation-driven projects and backend development environments.

Delphix integration is an experience nice to have.
