The Automotive practice inside DXC Luxoft delivers software projects to a majority of the world's car manufacturers and suppliers for both personal and commercial vehicles. We are known for our Automotive software expertise and for helping our customers with high quality services and deliveries.
Currently we are growing for our Swedish customers and are looking for Functional Safety experts to join our team. You will be part of our growing organization in Sweden and will be part of developing next generation systems for the Automotive industry in the era of connected, autonomous, electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

As system engineer, you will be responsible for developing a system fulfilling the agreed cross-functional solution. Your main role is to break down functional requirements and apply them to the electrical and SW architecture related to the car platform. You will distribute and define requirements to systems/modules and components, the execution environments. It means functional and non-functional realization in our requirement management tool Carweaver. This you will do in close collaboration within the team developers and testers and with all relevant stakeholders.

You and your skills

We believe you have relevant background with university degree in Electronics, Software, Mechatronics or equivalent. You have a minimum 5-year experience from SW development and system engineering. Previous experience of SW development would give you additional advantage to excel in this position.

Required qualifications

Minimum a B.Sc. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Major experience from SW embedded development, system design and quality assurance of complex embedded systems

Deep and good knowledge of Functional safety standard ISO26262 and its deliverables related to design, requirements and hazard mitigation

Good and solid Carweaver and Elektra work experience related to design and signalling

bullet icon

Knowledge about automotive base technologies like UDS, diagnostics and CAN, LIN, Ethernet signalling concepts

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Valid European driver's license B

Nice to have

Knowledge about automotive exterior/interior systems

SW development in C++ and Simulink/C

bullet icon

Model based design in Simulink
