This opening is for an ADAS Domain Controller project for a prestigious OEM, where Luxoft is working with the OEM teams to deliver a next-generation Platform solution based on AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive and QNX working together as a system interacting with a host of cameras, ultrasound sensors, internal and external Radars.
Luxoft is collaborating on Signal and Service Management, Diagnostics, SW Update, Vehicle Config, QNX/Middleware and Software Architecture areas with the OEM directly.
Luxoft is expected to delivery quality and expert support in the above areas, drive topics independently, liaise with other OEM stakeholders to remove blockers. The ideal candidate needs to have endless curiosity and can pair a global mindset with locally relevant execution. You should be a gritty problem solver, never give up attitude and a self-starter who can think of out-of-the-box solutions. The successful candidate will be a team player, display a balance of hard and soft skills, including the ability to respond quickly to Client's changing needs.
Undertake a variety of tasks and be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team, to mentor junior SW engineers and to clearly communicate findings through presentations and reporting
Understand the requirements, high-level design and decompose them into detailed design.
Mentoring junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices and DevOps trade-offs
Ability to create a software detailed design and support their implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams
Ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives
Clearly understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations
Excellent communication skills and liaise with the wider global teams within JLR
A total of 3+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive application design and development
Should have worked in a complex automotive project, owning the responsibility for low-level design, implementation and validation
Experienced in design and development of software solution in AUTOSAR
Hands-on experience in programming languages like C/C++
Knowledge of Agile SW development process
Hands-on experience in developing systems based on various IPC mechanisms
Must have
Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Science and Engineering OR Electrical Engineering
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry (preferably in automotive S/W)
Proficient in programming languages C/C++
Experience with Embedded System Engineering
Experience with Resource management and Performance optimization
Experience doing Gap Analysis (Requirements vs Implementation)
Experience in Model-Based Software Engineering
Hands-on with UDS protocol
Hands-on with CAN Transport Protocol
Good knowledge of AUTOSAR-based Communication and Diagnostic stack
Working knowledge of CAN/CANFD, LIN, Flexray
Vector COMStack communication with Davinci configuration tool
Responsible for Customer specific Communication software development, COM stack configuration and testing
Experience in a classic/adaptive autosar and automotive embedded units, such as clusters
Experience in Automotive SW middleware platforms
Strong leadership skills to motivate the teams, work efficiently and deliver on time in a fast-paced work environment
Experience in Diagnostics, CAN, Ethernet networks for automotive
A proven record for the collaboration of direct and indirect teams to deliver a feature into production
Nice to have
Good to have experience with NVIDIA Thor, Aurix
strong Adaptive AUTOSAR (ARA APIs, ara::com), POSIX, C++,
model‑based interfaces (Simulink wrappers), automotive SW architecture.
Autonomous system and software design
Understand and apply the existing standards, regulatory and constraints in autonomous system design
Should have strong understanding of software development processes for safety critical system and apply them in design in accordance with ISO 26262
Derive Key Performance Software Indices (KPSI)
Support the intelligent software design and development
Efficient high-level and low-level design documentations of the product
Mentor the junior software engineers in the team
Liaise with wider global teams within JLR
Ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives
Understand complex user requirements and decompose them into functional, system, and detailed software requirements and architecture
Strong presentation and decision-making skills in proposal of software solutions and getting stakeholders confidence
