This opening is for an ADAS Domain Controller project for a prestigious OEM, where Luxoft is working with the OEM teams to deliver a next-generation Platform solution based on AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive and QNX working together as a system interacting with a host of cameras, ultrasound sensors, internal and external Radars.
Luxoft is collaborating on Signal and Service Management, Diagnostics, SW Update, Vehicle Config, QNX/Middleware and Software Architecture areas with the OEM directly.
Luxoft is expected to delivery quality and expert support in the above areas, drive topics independently, liaise with other OEM stakeholders to remove blockers. The ideal candidate needs to have endless curiosity and can pair a global mindset with locally relevant execution. You should be a gritty problem solver, never give up attitude and a self-starter who can think of out-of-box solution. The successful candidate will be a team player, display a balance of hard and soft skills, including the ability to respond quickly to Client's changing needs.
As a Platform and Thermal Management Software Developer, you are responsible for providing technical contribution to automotive Design, creation and implementation of software architectures for AutoSAR-based ECUs.
You would be responsible for defining and capturing and documenting non-functional requirements, preparing estimates and defining technical solutions to problems
You should provide technical contribution in project team to perform design to deployment related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues.
Must have
6-year experience in SW Development
Good to have experience on NVIDIA Thor, Aurix
Develop C/C++ components for thermal monitoring, DVFS control, and power management using POSIX APIs.
Integrate power/thermal services into Linux or Adaptive AUTOSAR using POSIX threads, timers, and IPC.
Implement algorithms for workload balancing, throttling, and energy aware scheduling.
Perform power and thermal profiling using tools like PowerTOP, ftrace and vendor utilities.
Create design documents and implement prototypes for new power/thermal features and optimizations.
Debug issues across sensors, PMIC interfaces, drivers, and user space POSIX components.
Support system integration and validation of thermal behavior under load, stress, and boundary conditions.
Collaborate with architecture teams to refine policies, thresholds, and control flows.
Ensure compliance with POSIX guidelines, coding standards, and safety/security processes.
Share knowledge with team members on Linux thermal frameworks, DVFS, and POSIX best practices
Nice to have
Good understanding of SoC & MCU architectures
Good understanding of system testing, QA, performance optimization and release management
Experience with automotive embedded software development, including agile development processes, continuous integration environments.
Platform software architecture design, integration and development expertise
Leading / collaborating with multiple teams
