We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional projects within the banking and financial services domain. You need to have a strong background in managing regulatory, compliance, and technology-driven initiatives, with a proven ability to navigate governance structures and engage senior stakeholders.

This role demands strong leadership, risk management, and communication skills to drive alignment and ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget while meeting strict regulatory and audit standards.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget for Banking clients.

Establish and enforce project governance frameworks, including status reporting, issue escalation, and stakeholder engagement.

Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop risk registers, mitigation plans, and ensure proper controls are in place.

Ensure compliance with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and audit processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, legal, and compliance.

Conduct regular project reviews and post-implementation audits to capture lessons learned and ensure continual improvement.

Drive stakeholder alignment through effective communication and governance meetings.

Skills

Must have

Experience: Minimum 8+ years of project management experience, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.

Delivery Expertise: Proven experience managing regulatory, compliance, and/or digital transformation projects with multi-million dollar budgets.

Methodologies: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, Hybrid).

Governance & Risk: Demonstrated success in setting up and managing governance frameworks, risk registers, and compliance controls.

Tools: Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, ServiceNow).

Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging C-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
