Luxoft has one of the world's leading Calypso practice.
We are a top-tier Calypso Partner and a market leader in implementation, integration, upgrade, and migration.
We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered Calypso projects across all major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and insurance.

Project Description:
Implementation on existing Calypso instance; migration from Opics.
Compensation for NYC: 140000-200000 USD Gross per year based on your interview results.
Salary for other locations dependent on experience and market standards

Responsibilities
bullet icon

Serve as a functional analyst for the Finastra Opics platform, supporting understanding of middle‑ and back‑office trade processing, settlement, and accounting workflows

Document current‑state Opics processes, data flows, and business rules to support functional analysis and Calypso replacement design

bullet icon

Support requirements and user story development by translating Opics behavior, lifecycle events, and accounting logic into clear functional specifications

bullet icon

Assist with data migration analysis, including identification of in‑scope trades, positions, balances, and historical data required for cutover

bullet icon

Support review and validation of system integrations and downstream impacts, including settlement, custody, accounting, and reporting interfaces.

Participate in testing, parallel run, and cutover activities, including reconciliation support and issue triage between Opics and Calypso outputs.

Contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer to help operations and project teams understand legacy Opics functionality and exceptions; intended to facilitate migration to Calypso

Skills

Must have

5+ years of experience working in Capital Markets and with Opics

bullet icon

Deep knowledge of Financial products across assets

bullet icon

Proven track record of delivery of implementation / migration projects

bullet icon

Experience of adherence to governance frameworks / implementation and handover to BAU

bullet icon

Proven experience as a hands-on Business Analyst with Opics background

bullet icon

Comprehensive knowledge of trade flow, trading systems and related concepts and technology, including valuation and client/market risk management
