We are supporting large Australian bank to migrate Fixed Income cash and securities settlement capabilities from a legacy platform on to Calypso. The program spans multiple regions (US, Europe, Australia, India) and covers a broad range of Fixed Income and Repo products.
The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in defining business requirements, analysing end‑to‑end settlement flows, and shaping Calypso configuration across workflows, task station, reporting. This role requires deep expertise in Fixed Income products, settlement processes, SWIFT messaging, and hands‑on experience with Calypso Back Office.

Responsibilities

Lead project for the migration of Fixed Income cash and securities settlements from the legacy platform to Calypso.

Provide subject‑matter expertise on settlement processes, market practices, and different custodian expectations.

Document current‑state and target‑state settlement workflows, exception processes, and operational controls.

Translate business requirements into functional, technical specifications for Calypso configuration, interfaces, and reporting.

Work closely with global operations teams to validate processes across all regions.

Support migration reconciliation with upstream/downstream systems

Design and implement Calypso Workflows, Task Station monitoring, STP rules for transfers / settlement instructions, Bond static setup

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Fixed Income, Securities Settlements, or Back Office Operations.

bullet icon

Strong product knowledge across Bonds, FRNs, Discounted Securities, Structured Notes, and Securities Lending.

bullet icon

Deep understanding of Repo (Bilateral, Triparty, Evergreen, Extendible).

bullet icon

Hands‑on experience with Calypso Back Office, including workflows, task station, settlement configuration, and reporting.

bullet icon

Strong knowledge of SWIFT MT54x, MT515, MT527, MT569, MT56x message formats and settlement lifecycle events.

Experience migrating settlement flows from legacy systems to Calypso or similar platforms.

bullet icon

Solid understanding of corporate actions, coupon processing, and lifecycle events for Fixed Income instruments.

Experience working with global operations teams across multiple time zones.

Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
