Project description

The role sits in the Trade Management team focusing on the build out of the in-house strategic cross asset risk platform: SABRE which is the bank's strategic platform for trade processing, valuation and market. It consists in designing and delivering solutions to the users of this platform with an initial focus onboarding new products, driving enhancement solutions, planning project timelines and working with multiple stakeholders such as users and developers to achieve desired outcome.

As the main focus of the role is on the Trade Data Store (TDS2), experience in trade booking, lifecycling and how a trade prices using static or market data is preferable. This would also require basic understanding of the financial products booked in the trades, with emphasis on FX (swaps, forwards, NDFs, etc) and IR products (eg. Repo and bonds). The role will be required to provide third-level business support for issues in trade replication, and also project enhancements for Front Office traders' requirements.

?? Taking ownership of technology deliveries from high level requirement through development, testing and deployment.

?? Provide on-going support to the technology teams as required e.g. authoring / reviewing test cases, closing out open issues / questions, managing change request process, maintaining high quality UAT plans, Issue Trackers promoting visibility within the team and to wider program stakeholders.

?? Identify risks and issues early, plan mitigating steps and communicate these to stakeholders in a timely manner

?? Understand business requirements for front office platform design and translate into quality technology solutions.

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

8-12 years' experience with business analysis, solution design and end-to-end delivery in the Financial Markets industry

bullet icon

Strong knowledge of derivatives across asset classes

bullet icon

Rates/Commodities/FX encompassing product knowledge, pricing, risk analytics and trade life cycle

bullet icon

Some technical background in analyzing or reviewing code changes would be preferable

bullet icon

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Knowledge and experience of Agile development practices

bullet icon

Ability to work proactively, independently and displays strong initiative.

Meticulous and upkeep documentation of project artifacts, discussions, risks, functional specifications

Strong communication and presentation skills with an excellent standard of English are a must.
