We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Integration Specialist to join our Platform Integration Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing complex system integrations across investment banking and global markets technology landscape. This is a critical, senior role requiring deep domain expertise, strong vendor engagement skills, and a hands-on technical approach, with ownership of delivery and coordination across internal teams and external providers.

The ideal candidate brings proven experience working with industry-leading platforms across trade execution, trade processing and market data, and is equally comfortable engaging with technology vendors during RFPs working in close collaboration with internal and vendor architecture teams.

Responsibilities

design and implement end-to-end system integration across customer global market technology landscape, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.

Lead global markets technology integration initiatives.

Act as central coordinator across architecture, infrastructure, application teams, and external vendors.

bullet icon

Evaluate and define integration patterns (API, FIX, MQ, file-based) appropriate to each system and use case.

Lead technical evaluation of vendor solutions, including issuing and responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs).

Create detailed integration documentation, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.

Engage with external vendors to assess product capabilities, negotiate integration requirements, and manage delivery timelines.

Maintain ongoing vendor relationships and track product roadmaps to anticipate integration impacts.

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

Minimum 10 years of experience in system integration within financial markets (buy-side, sell-side, or vendor).

bullet icon

Demonstrated experience integrating with external platforms (trade execution, RFQ, post trade processing, market data ...).

bullet icon

Strong experience with integration protocols: FIX, REST/SOAP APIs, MQ messaging (IBM MQ), SFTP.

bullet icon

Good understanding of cloud and connectivity patterns (Azure/AWS, VPC, private endpoints ...)

bullet icon

Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Java, SQL, or similar).

bullet icon

Proven record leading RFP processes and vendor technology assessments.

bullet icon

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

bullet icon

Good understanding of financial products: equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, and their trade lifecycles.

Hands-on Murex MX.3 experience — including interfaces, datamart, and workflow configuration
