Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, are looking for Consultants to be part of the project.
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.
The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
You will be working in a newly set-up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
To be involved in Banking application's production level L3 support under CCO domain.
Responsible for liaising with the production support team for incidents reported, provide investigation and coordination with vendor, tester, user, and L1/L2 team to identify root cause and fix/improvement.
Manage and review testing scope with testing team. Support testing of fixes and implementation to production.
Manage and review vendor fixes and support PI.
Investigate Ctrl-M batch job failures and provide workarounds upon failure.
Proactively monitor production PBI for closure. The role will require this activity to be performed on an end-to-end basis, across functional domains and technologies experience to handle BAU L3.
Support includes middleware patching, OS Patching, and certificate renewal support.
Solid knowledge and working experience in J2EE applications and/or Microsoft Dynamics.
Should be an expert in databases like MSSQL and/or ORACLE.
Must have
6-9 years of hands-on L3 production support experience in Java applications and Oracle databases.
Strong understanding of incident management, root cause analysis, and vendor coordination.
Experience working with batch scheduling tools such as Ctrl-M.
Knowledge of middleware and OS patching processes and certificate management.
Solid expertise in J2EE technology stack and database management.
Ability to coordinate and support testing activities related to defect fixes and deployments.
Nice to have
CRM experience as an added advantage.
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is beneficial.
