We are seeking an experienced Change & Release Management Specialist to oversee and coordinate application changes and releases across multiple environments in a large enterprise services environment. The role focuses on managing the release lifecycle, ensuring smooth deployments, and collaborating closely with Release Managers, Application Teams, and Service Teams to support automation-driven processes. You need to have strong experience in release planning, process automation, configuration management, and enterprise-level deployments.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all application changes and releases across non-production and production environments

Collaborate with Release Managers, Application, Platform, and DevOps teams to integrate automated release workflows

bullet icon

Support CI/CD-driven release pipelines and perform minor automation enhancements using Python and YAML, and implement runbook improvements

bullet icon

Ensure all releases follow change management policies, approvals, and audit requirements

bullet icon

Provision and manage cloud-based environments and containerized applications (Kubernetes, Docker/Podman) as part of the release process

bullet icon

Manage security and compliance scans (Checkmarx secrets, vulnerability checks, internal tools) as part of releases

bullet icon

Monitor logging and observability using cloud-native tools and Splunk

bullet icon

Maintain detailed documentation for releases, runbooks, automation processes, and SOPs

bullet icon

Perform ad-hoc operational, release-related, and automation tasks as required

bullet icon

Participate in shift-based support for critical releases or environments

Explore AI-driven automation and process improvements to optimize release reliability and efficiency

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

5+ years of experience in Change & Release Management for enterprise applications (IB&M / financial services)

bullet icon

Strong knowledge of Release Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, and Problem/Incident Management

bullet icon

Hands-on experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation workflows

bullet icon

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Docker/Podman)

bullet icon

Ability to perform minor enhancements or scripts using Python and YAML in the release pipeline

bullet icon

Experience with source control systems (GitLab, Git) and build/deployment scripts

bullet icon

Solid understanding of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and ability to integrate DB automation into releases

bullet icon

Experience integrating security and compliance scans into release processes

bullet icon

Experience with monitoring/logging tools (cloud-native + Splunk)

bullet icon

Experience documenting processes using Confluence, Jira, or similar tools

Familiarity with AI-driven automation concepts in release and deployment processes

Strong verbal and written communication skills
