As a member of our Software Engineering Group, you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining business-critical applications in a production environment. The primary focus of this role is L2/L3 application support, incident management, troubleshooting, and ensuring system stability and availability. You will work closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and support continuous service improvements.

This position is ideal for professionals with a strong production support background and hands-on expertise in Unix/Linux and SQL who are comfortable operating in a fast-paced support environment.

Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 application support for production systems, ensuring high availability and operational stability.

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application, system, and data-related issues.

Perform incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis for production incidents.

Execute SQL queries to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and support business investigations.

Utilize Unix/Linux environments for monitoring, diagnostics, log analysis, automation, and operational support activities.

Monitor application health using tools such as Grafana, ELK, MQ/Kafka, and related monitoring platforms.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to drive timely issue resolution.

Support deployment activities, release validation, and production readiness processes.

Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and operational excellence initiatives.

Participate in on-call or production support rotations as required.

Skills

Must have

4 to 6 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or a similar L2/L3 support role.

bullet icon

Strong hands-on experience working with Unix/Linux operating systems.

bullet icon

Strong hands-on SQL skills, including query writing, troubleshooting, and data analysis.

bullet icon

Proven experience supporting business-critical applications in production environments.

bullet icon

Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.

bullet icon

Experience working with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and ELK.

bullet icon

Exposure to messaging technologies such as MQ or Kafka.

bullet icon

Familiarity with CI/CD processes and release support activities.

bullet icon

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production support environment.

bullet icon

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java.

Experience with Python or Shell (Bash) scripting for automation and operational tasks.

Knowledge of WebSocket and SFTP integrations.
