Project description

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Designer who excels at translating high‑level architectural concepts into precise, actionable technical designs. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and data science, ensuring that AI/ML and Generative AI solutions are designed with clarity, scalability, and operational excellence in mind.
You should bring strong experience in designing complex AI systems, creating detailed technical specifications, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless implementation.

Responsibilities
bullet icon

Translate High‑Level Design (HLD) documents into comprehensive Low‑Level Design (LLD) specifications for AI/ML and GenAI systems.

bullet icon

Define component‑level architecture, including APIs, data flows, model interfaces, infrastructure components, and integration points.

bullet icon

Create detailed design artifacts such as sequence diagrams, ER diagrams, deployment diagrams, and configuration specifications.

bullet icon

Collaborate closely with AI Architects, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Software Engineering teams to clarify requirements and resolve technical dependencies.

bullet icon

Break down architectural designs into implementable modules, tasks, and user stories for development teams.

bullet icon

Define model integration patterns, including LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, vector database interactions, and inference endpoints.

bullet icon

Ensure that scalability, performance, security, and reliability considerations are embedded in all LLD deliverables.

bullet icon

Provide technical guidance during implementation and resolve design‑related issues or ambiguities.

bullet icon

Review code, configurations, and implementations to ensure alignment with architecture and design standards.

bullet icon

Support effort estimation, sprint planning, and risk identification for AI‑related workstreams.

bullet icon

Maintain thorough documentation of technical specifications, API contracts, configuration details, and integration guidelines.

bullet icon

Work with DevOps/MLOps teams to define deployment architecture, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability for AI systems.

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

Strong experience (typically 5+ years) in software design, solution design, or AI/ML engineering with a focus on technical specification and system design.

bullet icon

Proven ability to translate HLD into detailed, developer‑ready LLD for AI/ML or GenAI systems.

bullet icon

Solid understanding of AI/ML system components, including data pipelines, model interfaces, inference services, and integration patterns.

bullet icon

Experience designing solutions involving LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and API‑driven model consumption.

bullet icon

Proficiency in creating technical design artifacts (sequence diagrams, ERDs, deployment diagrams, configuration specs).

bullet icon

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud‑native AI services.

bullet icon

Strong understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and security in distributed systems.

bullet icon

Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and data teams.

bullet icon

Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
