Project description

This is a unique opportunity to work for a German commercial vehicle OEM. You will have the chance to get up close with all aspects of the clients IT infrastructure with touch points across all departments within the company. You will be responsible for the service design, product and UI design of internal web tools and working closely with software engineers and most importantly closely collaborating with UX/UI Designers from the global Luxoft team and the clients German and Portugal team.

Responsibilities

Assist in the definition of functional and non-functional requirements in written form (e.g.,User stories) including competitor analysis

bullet icon

Service ideation, identifying and developing ideas and value-added functions for innovative products and services

bullet icon

Conduct user research, synthesize insights, and develop service concept

bullet icon

Support the creation of service blueprints, journey maps, and prototypes within cross-functional teams

bullet icon

Creation of rough UX concepts within a design system

bullet icon

Detailed UX specification of concepts for handover to software

bullet icon

Pixel perfect creation of UI assets conforming to the design system and styleguide rules

bullet icon

Collaboration with SW developers, UX/UI Designers, scrum masters, product owners and other stakeholders

Skills

Must have

Strong research and synthesis skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Expertise in analyzing complex data to derive actionable insights

Ability to understand and analyze system components for holistic solutions

Skilled in leading discussions and workshops to enhance team collaboration

working experience in UX/UI Design (Wireframing & Visual Design) for complex web tools

Setup of Design materials in organized and editable way within a figma Design System

Experience in preparation of Design component deliveries to Software and other stakeholders

Advanced degree, or equivalent experience, in UX research, interaction design, industrial design, human factors engineering or similar studies is desired

Nice to have

Familiarity with Confluence and Jira

Experience in determining usage scenarios for complex In-Vehicle Information and Communication systems for different car manufacturers, with special focus on instrument cluster
