UI path Developer for Testing Automation of LoanIQ will design, build and execute automated test solutions for the Loan IQ platform using UiPath Test Suite, covering functional, regression, integration and upgrade testing. The role is responsible for converting the existing manual Loan IQ regression pack into a reusable, maintainable automation suite, integrating it into CI/CD pipelines, and providing reliable, repeatable test coverage across Loan IQ releases, enhancements and interfacing applications.

Responsibilities

Test Automation Design & Development:

Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and reusable components for Loan IQ using UiPath Studio / UiPath Test Suite.

Build and maintain an object repository and data-driven automation framework covering Loan IQ thick client and web-based screens.

Automate the Loan IQ regression pack across core modules – Customer, Deal, Facility, Outstanding, Drawdowns, Payments, Fees, Interest, Accruals, Notices and Batch processing.

Parameterise test data and manage test data set-up to enable repeatable execution across SIT, UAT and pre-production environments

Test Execution & Defect Management:

Plan and execute automated regression, smoke and sanity cycles for Loan IQ patches, hot fixes, version upgrades and enhancement releases.

Analyse execution results, triage failures, distinguish genuine defects from script/environment issues and publish execution reports to stakeholders.

Log, track and re-test defects in JIRA / Zephyr / ALM through to closure, working with development and vendor teams.

Support integration testing of Loan IQ with interfacing systems (e.g. payment hub, messaging, reporting and downstream applications).

Framework, CI/CD & Maintenance:

Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab or Azure DevOps to enable continuous testing.

Maintain and refactor automation assets in response to Loan IQ version upgrades, configuration changes and screen changes.

Manage version control of automation code and maintain scheduled unattended execution through UiPath Orchestrator.

Identify and implement automation opportunities that reduce manual regression effort and shorten release cycles.

Documentation & Collaboration:

Prepare and maintain test strategy, automation approach, test plans, test scenarios, scripts and requirement traceability matrices.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with business analysts, developers, product owners, operations and vendor teams.

Provide knowledge transfer and support to manual testers and business UAT users on automated test assets and results.

Skills

Must have

5 to 8 years in software testing, with a minimum of 3 years in test automation and hands-on experience testing Finastra Loan IQ.

Hands-on experience with UiPath Studio, UiPath Test Suite and UiPath Orchestrator for automated functional and regression testing.

Strong functional knowledge of Finastra Loan IQ – Deal Booking, Facility Booking, Drawdowns, Payments, Fees, Interest, Servicing, Notices and Batch processing.

Experience in corporate and syndicated lending processes is a must.

Proven experience in test design, test case authoring, regression testing, system integration testing and UAT support.

Strong SQL skills with Oracle / PostgreSQL / MS SQL Server for back-end validation and test data preparation.

Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM or qTest.

Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery with DevOps practices

Exposure to other automation tools such as Selenium, UFT or Tosca, and scripting in VB Script, Java or Python.

Experience integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).

API testing experience – Loan IQ XML API, REST / SOAP services, Postman or REST Assured.

Exposure to Loan IQ SDK, scripted notices and scripted batches.

Experience in Loan IQ version upgrade testing and production support environments.

Good understanding of Cloud concepts (Azure and AWS).

UiPath certification (e.g. UiPath Certified Professional – Automation Developer / Test Automation Engineer).
