An exciting opportunity to join a front-office Electronic Trading Technology team supporting Cash Equities across APAC markets. This role combines business analysis, client engagement and technical support within a low-latency trading environment, working closely with clients, exchanges, vendors and internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate will play a key role in gathering requirements, delivering technology solutions, supporting electronic trading platforms and driving market connectivity initiatives.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyse business and client requirements.

Work directly with traders, business stakeholders, clients, exchanges and vendors.

Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.

Support electronic trading applications and troubleshoot production issues.

Act as a third-line support contact for complex incidents.

Support exchange connectivity and market access projects.

bullet icon

Participate in testing, deployment and platform enhancements.

Develop scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.

Skills

Must have

Domain Experience:

bullet icon

Strong 5 years experience within Investment Banking, Electronic Trading or Capital Markets Technology

bullet icon

Excellent communication skills to interface with business sponsors, clients and third parties

bullet icon

Good understanding of Cash Equities trading workflows.

bullet icon

Experience with electronic trading platforms and market connectivity.

bullet icon

Exposure to front-office trading environments.

bullet icon

Knowledge of exchange infrastructure and trading technology. Technical Skills:

strong Python and Unix skills (especially Linux) including shell scripting

bullet icon

strong FIX messaging experience within an electronic trading capacity

bullet icon

familiar with broad areas of trading technology (including FPGA, low-latency networks, low-latency application development and exchange protocols such as OUCH, Arrowhead, HKEX CCCG & OCG)

expertise in Equities Trading platforms and the Trading Life Cycle (Low-latency trading, co-location setup)

experience with systems across front, middle, and back office
