Core banking system for client in several countries is run by a talented team that works on mission-critical applications. The team provides a wide range of services to end customers within Temenos space, including delivering new features and running support services.

The T24 Operator is responsible for the day to day operation, monitoring, and support of the Temenos T24 (Transact) core banking system. This role ensures smooth batch processing, system stability, and timely resolution of operational issues. The T24 Operator works closely with IT teams, business units, and vendor support to maintain optimal system performance.

Responsibilities

System Operations & Monitoring

Monitor T24 application environment, including real-time services, interfaces, and online processing.

Execute, control, and validate daily batch operations (Start-of-Day, End-of-Day, End-of-Month, End-of-Year).

Ensure timely completion of all scheduled jobs and escalate delays or failures when necessary.

bullet icon

Maintain and track system logs, alerts, and performance indicators.

Monitor Daily processing on DWH production environment

Incident & Problem Management

bullet icon

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve T24-related issues in coordination with IT support teams.

Escalate unresolved problems to developers or Temenos support with proper documentation.

Participate in root-cause analysis and propose improvements to prevent recurring incidents.

bullet icon

Outside of Service Desk working hours act as a Service Desk operators assigning the tickets to the respective teams.

Data & System Integrity

bullet icon

Perform system checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency within T24 modules.

Validate interfaces and data exchanges between T24 and other systems (e.g., channels, payments, reporting).

Support data extraction and report generation when required.

Maintenance & Support

bullet icon

Execute application patching, updates, releases, and hotfix deployments.

Operate all test environments (SIT, UAT) for new features or system changes.

bullet icon

Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and process guides.

Compliance & Security

bullet icon

Adhere to internal IT control standards and audit requirements.

Ensure sensitive banking and customer data is handled according to security policies.

Participate in system backup and recovery procedures.

Skills

Must have

3-6 years of working experience

bullet icon

Hands-on experience with T24

bullet icon

Working knowledge of Temenos T24 architecture, modules, and command-line utilities.

Understanding of Linux/Unix environments and basic shell scripting.

bullet icon

Familiarity with DB2 database.

bullet icon

Understanding of integration layers (TAFC, OFS, APIs).

bullet icon

Knowledge of COB, AA, FT, ST and other T24 modules.

Nice to have

Experience with monitoring tools is an advantage.
