Technical Risk Business Analyst

Support the delivery of onboarding TRS products for Canadian entity as well as sponsored repos across London and US Securities entities. Although there is a strong focus on risk Business Analyst work, this also requires strong technical lead skills to problem solve across a variety of business functions.
Assist with the delivery from a credit risk and market risk technology perspective.
Perform technical analysis related to PFE implementation.
Documenting detailed user requirements, validating pricing and simulation models using Markit FRA.
Mapping Trade and Market data items from trade systems to QUIC format.
Work closely with risk quants to understand functionally how all products will map to existing PFE modelled/non-modelled calculation methodologies.
Working closely with business to define a solution for credit risk monitoring.
Work closely with the technology project management and risk system vendors to define delivery schedules and validate package updates.
Work with the project team to define appropriate testing methodologies and be involved running tests related to new product development.
Ensure effective partnership with the production teams to ensure effective handover of new processes and controls into the live environment
Drive forward solutions to remediate production issues
Develop solid working relationships with many all areas of the firm but especially technology risk, risk analytics group, market risk management, credit risk management and Front office solutions.
Work closely with relevant business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s)
Act as a Risk technology SME.
Have a clear understanding of PFE inputs and understand the market and reference data requirements. Ability to validate and perform testing and explain differences.
Must have
Client counterparty credit risk uses an advanced model for PFE so the BA needs to be quantitative and familiar with these advanced tools.
Client use a vendor based calculation engine, IHS Markit Financial Risk Analytics or FRA (formerly known as Quic) and that although prior experience using FRA is desirable similar hands on experience with other vendor or proprietary pricing and risk engines is acceptable .
Experience of working with QuIC/FraimWRX and/or Murex would be benficial
Strong business analysis skills and project lifecycle knowledge
Knowledge/experience of gathering business requirements and compiling business requirements documents and functional specifications
Ability to define and structure test plans, experience of guiding users through UAT phases
Ability and experience of working under pressure
both autonomously and within a team
Knowledge of Repo and SBL products
Knowledge of investment banking
Knowledge of key Credit risk ad market risk topics. A Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in these domains.
Ability to liaise with business and IT stakeholders
Solid communication skills

Experience of working with FraimWRX and/or Murex would be beneficial
