To support the delivery of the clients PFE and adoption. This is required to meet PRA/ECB regulatory requirements, but also ensures methodology consistency with Bank and Securities. The latter already use PFE. This will be a role within the Business Analyst team servicing Risk technology related projects.
Assist with the delivery of the Bank PFE initiative from a risk technology perspective.
Perform technical analysis and design of target infrastructure updates related to PFE implementation for the Bank entity.
Documenting detailed user requirements, validating pricing and simulation models using Markit FRA.
Mapping Trade and Market data items from trade systems to FraimWRX format.
Work closely with risk quants to understand functionaly how all products will map to existing PFE modelled/non-modelled calculation methodologies.
Working closely with business to define a solution for eod/intraday credit risk monitoring for the bank entity.
Work closely with the technology project management and risk system vendors to define delivery schedules and validate package updates.
Work with the project team to define appropriate testing methodologies and be involved running tests related to new product development.
Ensure effective partnership with the production teams to ensure effective handover of new processes and controls into the live environment
Drive forward solutions to remediate production issues
Develop solid working relationships with many all areas of the firm but especially technology risk, risk analytics group, market risk management, credit risk management and Front office solutions.
Work closely with relevant business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s)
Act as a Risk technology SME within the one platform initative programme.
Must have
Clients counterparty credit risk uses an advanced model for PFE so the BA needs to be quantitative and familiar with these advanced tools.
Client uses a vendor based calculation engine, S&P Global and FraimWRX (formerly known as Quic) and that although prior experience using FraimWRX is desirable similar hands on experience with other vendor or proprietary pricing and risk engines is acceptable .
Strong business analysis skills and project lifecycle knowledge
Knowledge/experience of gathering business requirements and compiling business requirements documents and functional specifications
Ability to define and structure test plans, experience of guiding users through UAT phases
Ability and experience of working under pressure
both autonomously and within a team
Konwledge of investment banking
Strong background in implementing a PFE solution for Interest rate, FX and Loan products.
Knowledge of key Credit risk topics. A Minimum of 5 years experience woking in these domains.
Ability to liaise with business and IT stakeholders
Solid communication skills
both written and oral
Nice to have
Experience of working with FraimWRX and/or Murex would be beneficial
