As part of the Architecture and Implementation group, you will lead projects that deliver high‑quality linear and streaming media content to both residential and commercial customers. Establish project schedules, priorities, risks and maintain budgeted costs/spend within overall development plans and deployment.
Pull and maintain weekly and monthly reporting from various project management systems.
Work with suppliers, gather quotes and liaise with procurement and logistics teams to order and deliver hardware for project requirements
Organize routine reviews of project status with staff and management teams and proactively keep stakeholders aware of delivery dates.
Collaborate with counterpart Engineering departments on larger projects affecting Broadcast centers, RUF/DUFs and Local Collection Facilities by actively participating in design reviews, commissioning & testing, training sessions, and hand-offs.
Coordinate project-related activities via Change Management forums to avoid conflicts with day-to-day operations.
Integrate new technologies and infrastructure augmentations into a production environment, including infrastructure upgrades, migrations and decommissions, while enforcing operational compliance.
Manage projects delivering new leading-edge technology to provide streaming services, monitor and control for user functions, and tiered administration on system and network infrastructure.
Drive communication with the following groups to align Project Scope with stakeholder requirements:
Product Owners
Technical Leads and Infrastructure Architects
Circuit/Bandwidth departments
Operations Support Teams and Operators and
Network and Systems Outsourced Managed Vendors
Develop and maintain standard project documentation, project plans, agendas, design documents, action item lists, business rules/requirements, test cases, etc.
Schedule work tasks with our Network and Systems engineering staff
Must have
Bachelor's Degree preferred or relevant work experience (large-scale, multi-disciplinary Project Management) demonstrating a high level of responsibility supporting corporate initiatives.
Demonstrated use of project management principles essential
PMP & CSM Certification a plus.
Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, PI Planning and Sprint Deliverables.
Scrum Master or Product Owner Experience in a shared service infrastructure delivery team. Plan and host Agile ceremonies, participate in program planning.
Practical experience managing infrastructure and technology deployments, including IT concepts and terminology.
Has worked in traditional Waterfall, Agile and DevOps frameworks and is experienced in merging efforts from all disciplines.
Can digest a System Spec document and begin planning project deliverables
Has worked in a live customer facing production environment and can act and enforce the change management policy that governs the environment
Possesses general knowledge of enterprise architecture o Systems administration concepts as they pertain to enterprise computing o Practical experience with hardware installation for data center o Basic knowledge of network and load balancers typical of a software deployment
Has an understanding of the software development lifecycle, including the application design, testing, and release processes, that can be used to accept operational handoff of applications developed in and out of house.
Ability to effectively operate within diverse and cross-functional groups.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Must be able to see the project, decisions and processes in terms of the big picture and how it would impact across departments.
Must have excellent facilitation, time management, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, including ability to tailor communication to audience to achieve desired results.
Tools: Familiarity with JIRA, Service Now, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, MS Project, MS Teams and Slack Communications
Nice to have
PMP, CSM
Experience working in an Agile framework using Kanban or Scrum to manage work and increase productivity.
