In this role you will be working on projects for one our world famous clients, a large international investment bank.
We are seeking a hands-on and visionary Tech Lead to manage a squad focused on designing and delivering our data sourcing strategy. This role involves integrating data from diverse sources—including traditional databases (Oracle, Postgres), Hadoop, NoSQL systems, and file-based inputs—and publishing it through our strategic hybrid data platform across Google Cloud and on-premises environments.

Design scalable data sourcing and delivery solutions.

Define and enforce best practices for data ingestion, preprocessing, and pipeline development.

Lead technical decisions across the team

Data Integration & Delivery

Design and implement data pipelines to ingest, transform, and publish data to distribution layers such as BigQuery, cloud storage, or through APIs.

Ensure seamless integration with hybrid platforms (GCP and on-prem).

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with feed providers to define and agree on technical interfaces.

Skills

Must have

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience leading technical teams in data engineering or platform roles.

Strong expertise in:

Oracle, Postgres, Hadoop, NoSQL databases

Data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow/Composer, Dataflow, Dataproc)

bullet icon

Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM)

bullet icon

Solid understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and data governance.

bullet icon

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

bullet icon

Ability to balance hands-on technical work with strategic leadership.

Nice to have
