Core banking system for client in several countries is run by a talented team that works on mission-critical applications. The team provides a wide range of services to end customers within Temenos space, including delivering new features and running support services. The Team consists of experienced consultants and boasts an informal atmosphere based on collaboration and trust. The T24 Business Analyst acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective implementation, enhancement, and support of the Temenos T24 core banking platform. This role involves analyzing business requirements, designing solutions aligned with T24 capabilities, supporting system configuration, coordinating testing, and ensuring successful delivery of functional changes.
Business Requirements & Analysis
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from various banking departments.
Perform detailed gap analysis between business needs and standard T24 functionality.
Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
Provide expert guidance to stakeholders regarding T24 capabilities and best practices.
T24 Functional Expertise
Configure and validate changes across T24 modules (e.g., Accounts, Lending, Payments, AA, FT, Securities, Deposit).
Conduct impact analysis for new changes, upgrades, and patches.
Support parameterization, data mapping, and customization request evaluation.
Collaborate with Temenos or vendors on issue resolution and functional enhancements.
Participation & Delivery
Participate in end to end project lifecycle: requirements, design, testing, deployment.
Prepare functional specifications, solution designs, and process documentation.
Work with developers on customization design and validation.
Assist in environment setup and release coordination.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Develop test cases and scenarios for functional and integration testing.
Conduct system testing, SIT, UAT support, regression testing, and defect validation.
Ensure delivered solutions meet functional design, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Production Support & Incident Management
Provide Level 2/3 functional support for T24 incidents and inquiries.
Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose preventive measures.
Work closely with support teams on issue prioritization and resolution.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain up to date documentation: BRDs, FSDs, process flows, parameter guides, test evidence.
Ensure all solutions adhere to regulatory, audit, and internal control standards.
Support compliance, risk, and audit teams with required system information.
Stakeholder Communication
Facilitate effective communication between business teams, developers, operations, and vendors.
Provide training or knowledge transfer to end users and internal teams.
Manage expectations and ensure clarity on timelines, requirements, and deliverables.
Must have
Strong hands-on understanding of T24 architecture, modules, and workflows.
Experience with T24 versions (R16 or later) and related tools (TAFC, OFS, Browser).
Knowledge of T24 tables, routines, versioning, and COB processes.
Familiarity with SQL, jBase, or related database/query languages (desirable).
Experience in banking domains such as Loans, Payments, Deposits, Compliance, Treasury, Accounts etc.
Nice to have
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and multi-country teams.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
