Currently we are growing for our Swedish customers and are looking for Automotive scripting engineers with knowledge in build system to join our team. You will be part of our growing organization in Sweden and will be part of developing next generation systems for the Automotive industry in the era of connected, autonomous, electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Function Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and validation of complex embedded systems within the automotive and infotainment domain. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automated testing using Python and PyTest, with a solid understanding of Linux environments and CI/CD workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and integrate automotive software features across ADAS systems

bullet icon

Own the definition, behavioral specification, KPIs, and acceptance criteria for one or more ADAS functions.

bullet icon

Decompose vehicle-level requirements into testable, traceable component requirements, and maintain that traceability as requirements evolve.

bullet icon

Own and contribute to the functional safety argument for your function (ISO 26262), including SOTIF (ISO 21448) considerations for performance limitations.

bullet icon

Drive your function through the V-model: concept → requirements → design → implementation → integration → validation.

bullet icon

Coordinate across cross-functional teams and suppliers who do not report to you, resolving conflicts between safety, requirements, customer expectations, schedule, and supplier constraints.

Define and oversee validation strategy in collaboration with test and verification teams.

bullet icon

Communicate technical trade-offs and status clearly to engineers, management, and customer stakeholders.

Maintain accurate, thorough requirements and supporting documentation.

Strong understanding of system architecture and software integration

achelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Solid experience in automotive or embedded software development, with hands-on involvement in ADAS or active-safety functions.

Strong systems engineering fundamentals: requirements decomposition, traceability, interface definition, and the V-model.

Working understanding of functional safety (ISO 26262) and how ASIL ratings flow into design; awareness of SOTIF (ISO 21448) and why it matters for perception-dependent functions.

Understanding of the ADAS sensing-to-actuation chain (sensors, perception, sensor fusion, decision/planning, actuation, HMI) and the limitations and failure modes of camera, radar, and lidar.

Experience with a requirements/architecture management tool such as CarWeaver, SystemWeaver, DOORS, or equivalent.
