Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.

The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business requirements for automation opportunities across various domains.

Prepare and maintain detailed documentation including BRD (Business Requirement Document), PDD (Process Design Document), and FSD (Functional Specification Document).

Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for RPA development teams.

Collaborate closely with RPA Developers, Business Users, and Project Managers to ensure successful delivery of automation solutions.

Evaluate automation feasibility and identify process improvements.

Support development and testing phases by validating use cases, reviewing scripts, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Work within Windows Server and SQL Server environments, supporting RPA workflows and reporting needs.

Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and assist in production rollout and support.

Track and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Skills

Must have

3-5 years of experience as a System Analyst or Business Analyst.

bullet icon

Strong skills in requirement gathering, process analysis, and documentation (BRD, PDD, FSD).

bullet icon

Experience working with Windows Server and SQL Server.

bullet icon

Basic understanding of .NET, SQL, and Java for interpreting technical specifications.

bullet icon

Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with business and technical teams.

bullet icon

Ability to identify automation opportunities and assess process suitability.

Nice to have

bullet icon

Hands-on or working knowledge of RPA tools such as Blue Prism, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere (AA).

Understanding of RPA design principles, bot lifecycle management, and process optimization.

Exposure to Open Systems environments.
