Project description

We are seeking a Solution Architect with deep Supply Chain Finance domain expertise to define the target-state architecture and high-level design for the Supply Chain Finance domain, aligned to business outcomes and the bank's strategic direction. This role spans business, application, data, and technology architecture — owning the end-to-end solution design and transformation roadmap, including integration with Payments and Core Banking platforms. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of business strategy and technology execution, translating complex domain requirements into well-structured architectural solutions and guiding them through stakeholder alignment, impact analysis, and implementation planning.

Responsibilities
bullet icon

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, domain architects, and technical SMEs to develop a comprehensive understanding of the current Supply Chain Finance architecture, including systems landscape, data flows, integration points, and technology stack

bullet icon

Document the existing architecture thoroughly, identifying pain points, technical debt, capability gaps, operational inefficiencies, and risks that hinder business agility or scalability

bullet icon

Capture and articulate business objectives, strategic drivers, and domain-specific requirements to guide the target-state architectural vision

bullet icon

Define the target-state architectural strategy for Supply Chain Finance in alignment with overall business strategy, technology strategy, and enterprise architecture guidelines

bullet icon

Ensure the architectural strategy addresses Supply Chain Finance domain specifics—such as receivables finance, payables finance, reverse factoring, dynamic discounting, inventory finance, pre-shipment finance, and distributor finance—and integration with Payments and Core Banking platforms

bullet icon

Align the strategy with modern architecture principles including cloud-native design, API-first, event-driven patterns, and data-centric approaches, while considering legacy system migration constraints

bullet icon

Define the target-state solution architecture across business, application, data, and technology dimensions

bullet icon

Design end-to-end architectural views and process flows covering the entire Supply Chain Finance scope, including inbound and outbound integration with Payments, Core Banking, ERP systems, buyer/supplier onboarding portals, credit risk engines, and external trade networks

bullet icon

Produce high-level design artefacts that clearly communicate the solution to both technical teams and business stakeholders for alignment and approval

bullet icon

Document and evaluate roadmap options for Supply Chain Finance transformation, assessing feasibility, risk, time-to-value, and organizational impact

bullet icon

Define the recommended end-to-end roadmap, detailing capability sequencing, migration phases, and key milestones

bullet icon

Produce a high-level implementation roadmap outlining impacts on related domains, dependencies, risks, and assumptions, and secure stakeholder review and approval including business leadership, enterprise architecture, domain leads, and delivery teams

bullet icon

Proficiency in cloud-native architecture, microservices design, RESTful and event-driven API design, contract-first approaches, and diverse database models including relational, NoSQL, and event sourcing.

bullet icon
