A leading bank in Australia is looking for a senior solution architects to join their CTO office to deliver transformation work across digital banking, consumer finance etc with a deep understanding of technology trends, platforms, and methodologies and the ability to think strategically to design solutions that meet business requirements.
We are currently on the lookout for a highly skilled Solution Architect, specifically working within the banking domain (Consumer banking, if preferable).

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Develop high-level and detailed technical design specifications that are aligned with the overall solution architecture.

Lead the implementation of solutions, including the coordination of development and deployment activities, and management of vendors.

Ensure that solutions are aligned with the organisation's technology road map and architecture principles.

Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for the adoption of new technologies where appropriate.

Mentor and guide development teams to ensure that solutions are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Skills

Must have

The role requires someone with a robust understanding of banking, especially consumer banking / consumer finance, who can help us design and implement effective solutions, mostly on existing applications.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in solution architecture, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team to drive our projects forward

Qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related.

Experience with solution architecture.

Demonstrated ability to design and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements.

Strong technical skills with an understanding of different technologies, architecture patters and design principles.

Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, system integration, and cloud technologies.
