We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vulkan Graphics Software Engineer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance graphics software and rendering systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the Vulkan API, low-level C programming, graphics rendering concepts, and performance optimization across CPU and GPU architectures. Experience in embedded systems, graphics drivers, and safety-critical software environments is highly desirable.
Graphics and Rendering Development
Design and implement graphics rendering solutions using the Vulkan API.
Develop and maintain low-level graphics software components in C.
Optimize graphics pipelines for performance, memory consumption, and resource utilization.
Implement advanced rendering techniques and visual effects.
Develop and integrate shaders using GLSL.
Analyze and improve rendering performance on embedded and automotive platforms.
System-Level Development
Work closely with hardware, driver, and platform teams to ensure efficient GPU utilization.
Investigate and resolve graphics driver, synchronization, and performance issues.
Implement robust memory management strategies for graphics applications.
Design thread-safe and scalable solutions using multithreaded programming principles.
Contribute to low-level software architecture and platform integration activities.
Optimization and Quality
Profile CPU and GPU workloads to identify bottlenecks and improve system performance.
Develop highly optimized algorithms for real-time graphics applications.
Participate in code reviews and enforce software quality standards.
Support debugging, validation, and troubleshooting activities throughout the development lifecycle.
Safety and Compliance
Apply secure and reliable coding practices.
Contribute to the development of software intended for safety-critical environments.
Support compliance with automotive or safety-certifiable software development processes when required.
Must have
Technical Skills
Deep understanding of the Vulkan API and graphics programming principles.
Strong expertise in low-level C programming.
Solid understanding of graphics rendering concepts, including:
Vertex Buffer Objects (VBOs)
Texturing
Anti-Aliasing
Rendering Pipelines
Graphics Resource Management
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience developing performance-sensitive software.
Professional Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Several years of experience in graphics software development, embedded systems, or GPU-related engineering.
