Project description

You will be joining a high-performing Quality Engineering practice to support a large-scale enterprise initiative for our client's Global Finance Core (GFC). This project focuses on ensuring the stability, efficiency, and accuracy of critical SAP financial modules. You will play a pivotal role in driving the automation strategy, building robust frameworks, and optimizing business processes through advanced automation techniques.

Responsibilities

Automation Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive, end-to-end automation strategy that aligns with overall project objectives, timelines, and technological capabilities.

Framework Architecture: Design, create, and maintain a highly scalable UFT (Unified Functional Testing) Test Automation Framework from scratch.

SAP Test Automation: Create and maintain complex automated test scripts and workflows to rigorously validate software functionality and business processes within SAP for the GFC (Global Finance Core).

Custom Reporting: Architect and generate customized, readable automation execution reports in HTML, Text, and Excel formats to provide clear metrics to stakeholders.

Process Optimization: Analyze current business and testing processes to identify strategic areas where automation can improve execution efficiency, reduce operational costs, and enhance overall software quality.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Proactively diagnose, debug, and resolve complex technical issues related to automation scripts, execution tools, and the underlying testing infrastructure.

Skills

Must have

5+ years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on Test Automation.

bullet icon

Deep expertise in Micro Focus UFT (Unified Functional Testing), including advanced VBScript programming and descriptive programming.

bullet icon

Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining UFT Automation Frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword-driven, or Hybrid).

Solid experience in SAP Test Automation, specifically validating financial/ERP business processes and workflows.

bullet icon

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex script and infrastructure failures.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical automation strategies.

Nice to have

Familiarity with the Global Finance Core (GFC) domain or general enterprise financial accounting principles.

Experience integrating UFT scripts into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).

Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) or ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tools.

Exposure to other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Tricentis Tosca) to support future tech-stack migrations if required.
