Worked as an SAP SD Functional Analyst in a global Analytics and Data Engineering transformation program aimed at improving Sales & Distribution business processes through Process Mining, advanced analytics, and enterprise reporting solutions.

Collaborated with business stakeholders to analyze and optimize the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process using Process Mining tools such as Celonis/Signavio. Gathered business requirements, documented functional specifications, and translated them into reporting and analytical solutions.

Partnered with Data Engineering teams to extract and integrate SAP SD data into Snowflake Data Warehouse, enabling scalable reporting and data-driven decision making. Designed and validated KPIs, business metrics, and dashboards using Power BI to provide visibility into sales performance, order processing efficiency, billing accuracy, delivery performance, and process bottlenecks.

Supported end-to-end project activities including requirement gathering, solution design, UAT, defect resolution, user training, deployment, and post-production support. Worked closely with cross-functional SAP teams including MM and FI to ensure data consistency and process alignment across the enterprise landscape.

Coordinated with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project management teams.

Skills

Must have

SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) Functional Expertise

Strong experience in SAP SD with deep understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes including sales order management, pricing, delivery processing, billing, customer master data, and integration with other SAP modules. Ability to analyze business requirements and provide functional solutions aligned with business objectives.

SAP Analytics & Data Engineering Project Experience

Hands-on experience working in Analytics and Data Engineering initiatives involving SAP data extraction, integration, reporting, and business process analysis. Ability to bridge the gap between business users and technical teams.

Process Mining

Experience using Process Mining tools and methodologies to analyze business processes, identify bottlenecks, uncover optimization opportunities, and drive process improvement initiatives. Exposure to tools such as Celonis, SAP Signavio, or equivalent is highly desirable.

Power BI Reporting & Dashboard Development

Strong knowledge of Power BI for developing, maintaining, and enhancing interactive dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards. Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful visualizations and analytical insights.

Snowflake Data Warehouse

Experience working with Snowflake for data storage, reporting, and analytics solutions. Understanding of data structures, data extraction, and collaboration with Data Engineering teams to support analytical reporting requirements.

SQL & Data Analysis

Working knowledge of SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing business data. Ability to perform data reconciliation, support reporting requirements, and troubleshoot data-related issues.

Business Process Analysis & Requirement Gathering

Ability to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, create functional specifications, and ensure business expectations are accurately translated into technical solutions.

Testing & User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Experience supporting SIT/UAT activities, validating business scenarios, managing defects, and ensuring successful deployment of new functionality and reporting solutions.

Stakeholder Management

Strong capability to engage with business users, process owners, project managers, and technical teams to facilitate requirement discussions, solution reviews, and successful project delivery.

10. Communication & User Training

Excellent communication skills with experience conducting workshops, training end users, supporting solution adoption, and providing post-deployment support.

Understanding of SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP FI (Finance) modules to support end-to-end business processes, data analysis, and cross-functional reporting requirements.

Experience integrating SAP ECC/S/4HANA data with analytics platforms, data warehouses, and reporting tools.

Hands-on experience with:

Power BI Advanced Features

Knowledge of:

DAX

Power Query

Data Modeling

Row-Level Security (RLS)

Performance optimization

SAP S/4HANA Exposure

Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA environments and understanding modern SAP data structures and analytics capabilities.

Data Governance & Data Quality

Understanding of:

Data quality frameworks

Master data management

Data governance principles

Data validation processes

Agile Project Delivery

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as:

10. Business Process Optimization
