For our fast growing startup client, which is building the leading securitization and investment platform for digitized alternative assets, we are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, hands-on quality assurance engineer to join our team. We expect this individual to think critically about data and software quality assurance, performance and usability testing while delivering cutting edge financial data analytics solutions. Responsibilities

Review requirement documents and quality specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Create clear, concise, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

bullet icon

Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality testing activities

bullet icon

Design, develop and execute thorough data quality automation tests

bullet icon

Track quality assurance metrics

bullet icon

Creating bug reports based on test execution results

bullet icon

Be ready to learn automation on the project and related technologies

bullet icon

Building and maintaining automated testing frameworks

bullet icon

Test case adjustments for automated testing needs

bullet icon

Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

bullet icon

Utilization of emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve the velocity, efficiency, and quality of work, enabling the team to absorb and deliver a greater volume of scope within the same timeframe.

Skills

Must have

Strong experience of data and software QA methodologies, tools and processes

bullet icon

6+ years of data/software quality experience

bullet icon

Strong knowledge of test design

bullet icon

Solid knowledge of ETL, SQL, and scripting (at least command line and shell)

bullet icon

Deep practical experience with performance, regression, and integration testing tools

bullet icon

Basic Java automation experience or any other scripting skills

bullet icon

Strong proficiency in Atlassian Product Suite (Confluence, JIRA)

bullet icon

Understanding of agile software development methodologies

bullet icon

Ability to prioritize test cases based on risk analysis

bullet icon

Strong analytical skills

bullet icon

Accountability and self-organization

bullet icon

Experience with real-time, high volume systems

Ability to deliver products in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment

Excellent communication skills

English Upper-intermediate or above (written and spoken)

Proven track record of applying AI tools in day-to-day work to drive efficiency gains, improve work quality, and increase capacity for additional scope while maintaining expected outcomes and delivery standards.
