Responsibilities
bullet icon

Execute manual, exploratory and automated test cases for Ethernet network equipment at the

bullet icon

physical L1 and data link L2 layer of the OSI stack

bullet icon

Design and execute ethernet physical layer test cases covering MAC/PCS/FEC state, link

bullet icon

negotiation, BER counters, port state transitions, transceiver operation and error counters

bullet icon

Validate alarm handling, fault isolation, and event monitoring capabilities of the product against realworld

bullet icon

telecom network scenarios (including outage impact analysis and incident management

bullet icon

workflows)

bullet icon

Perform acceptance and commissioning-style testing for L0/L1 features, reproducing complex lab

bullet icon

scenario

bullet icon

Analyze QoS and performance metrics at the transport/packet domain level; validate the product's

bullet icon

ability to measure and report on delay, jitter, packet loss, and load-balancing across L0/L1 links

bullet icon

Validate Network Management System (NMS) integration and interoperability scenarios with

bullet icon

multivendor optical and transport equipment

bullet icon

Reproduce and root-cause hardware and firmware defects through systematic test isolation at the
