Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.
The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Responsibilities

Analysing stakeholder requirements, formulating design and development proposals to enhance the global markets technology efficiency and meets Front office expectations

bullet icon

Delivering and supporting the Global markets platform (Murex), managing the quality of functional delivery and ensuring the implementation and deployment of the deliverables.

Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)

Contributing and assist existing support parties in resolving requests or issues with Front Office, P&L, Market Data, and booking issues

bullet icon

Interacting with stakeholders to develop practical domain roadmaps to move the enterprise towards the future state vision, while taking into account business, technical and delivery constraints

Communicating the principles, standards, vision and roadmaps to stakeholders and proactively addressing any questions / concerns identified

Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in both business and IT to assist in defining and delivering high quality solutions

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

BS or higher degree in Economics, Finance or equivalent science oriented track

bullet icon

Minimum 9+ years of experience in Murex Front Office (FO) support with strong exposure to Murex.

bullet icon

Knowledge of most common traded financial instruments is a must

bullet icon

Must be detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and a self-starter

bullet icon

Experience as a Front office / Product control system/business analyst or consultant in Murex.

Previous experience in delivering projects in financial services

preferable Investment banking and Risk

bullet icon

Solid experience in gathering and writing requirements and functional specifications in a project framework
