Senior DevOps Engineer
Successfully
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices. The role involves working closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable, secure, and observable software delivery.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and best practices.
Manage and optimize source code repositories (Git), including branching and merge strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based, etc.).
Configure and maintain build and dependency management using Maven (or similar tools).
Integrate and manage code quality and security scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube, SAST/DAST) as part of DevSecOps.
Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Groovy, and Python for build, deployment, and operational tasks.
Implement and support observability solutions using Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and OpenTelemetry.
Collaborate with release management teams to plan, coordinate, and execute application releases across environments.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in build, deployment, and production environments.
Contribute to continuous improvement of release processes, toolchains, and operational runbooks
Must have
7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with Git and repository/branching strategies.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:
Jenkins
GitLab CI
GitHub Actions
or similar tools
Proficiency with Maven or equivalent build tools.
Experience integrating and maintaining SonarQube or similar code quality tools.
Practical experience implementing DevSecOps practices and integrating security checks into pipelines.
Solid experience with:
Helm
Docker
Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, configuration, troubleshooting)
Knowledge of container security, image scanning, and Kubernetes security best practices.
Strong scripting skills in Shell and at least one of:
Groovy
Python
Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools:
Prometheus (metrics)
ELK Stack (logs)
OpenTelemetry (traces, metrics, logs instrumentation)
Experience with release management processes, including:
Versioning
Change management
Deployment coordination
Good understanding of Linux-based environments and networking fundamentals relevant to application deployment.
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment and handle multiple priorities.
Nice to have
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as:
Terraform
Ansible
Experience working with cloud platforms.
Knowledge of container security, image scanning, and Kubernetes security best practices.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional DevOps teams.
