Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-end household appliances, is expanding into new smart product lines. As part of this strategic initiative, a large-scale global program is being implemented across the company's IP portfolio. This includes the development of new embedded software, enhancements to cloud infrastructure, and the creation of innovative interfaces within the mobile application. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will take end-to-end ownership of delivering automation solutions and enabling integrations that directly accelerate feature delivery across our global software teams. You will be accountable to design, implement, and operate CI/CD pipelines for iOS and Android using the atlassian tooling. Enable PR-gated builds, automated unit/UI tests on device farms, secure code signing and artifact promotion, and app-store distribution with staged rollouts and rollback readiness. Collaborate with iOS/Android engineers, QA, Security, and Release Management to deliver fast feedback and reliable releases. This role requires a proactive and strategic mindset, combined with strong technical expertise in automation and integration.
Drive Feature Delivery: Take senior-level accountability for orchestrating Bamboo plans that trigger platform-specific workflows: Bitrise for iOS; Gradle + Firebase Test Lab for Android.
Enforce PR gating (lint, compile, unit tests, small UI-smoke) and nightly full matrices with sharding and retry policies.
Integration Expert: Design and implement seamless integrations between our diverse suite of development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Artifactory) and other critical business systems, leveraging Python and RESTful APIs.
Technical Leadership: Lead the technical delivery of requirements into well-tested code and application configurations, adhering to agreed standards and build methods. Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices
Proactive Innovation: Take a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement. Present innovative ideas and concepts to senior management, using data-driven insights to influence decisions.
Problem Resolution & Validation: Own and contribute to the thorough resolution of complex engineering problems, ensuring solutions are robustly validated through appropriate testing methodologies.
Team & Departmental Contribution: Lead or contribute to team and departmental level initiatives and change projects, driving positive impact across the organisation.
Technical Ownership: Maintain technical accountability for the configuration and deployment of software development tools, applications, and build pipelines, ensuring their stability and performance.
Must have
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
5+ years in CI/CD for mobile apps with Atlassian stack (Bitbucket/Jira/Confluence) and Bamboo administration.
Deep hands-on with iOS CI (Xcode builds, schemes, code signing/profiles, keychain/secrets) and Bitrise workflow design.
Strong Android CI expertise (Gradle flavors/buildTypes, signing/keystores, caching) and Firebase Test Lab orchestration.
Advanced expertise in Linux operating systems (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server/Windows OS.
Administration experience with MS SQL and/or PostgreSQL databases.
Understanding of core networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and Firewalls.
Proven experience working with RESTful APIs for system integration.
Experience with Proxy and Reverse Proxy/web server technologies (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat).
Working knowledge of Open Source Configuration Management (Ansible preferred), and Version Control systems (Git/SVN).
Scripting & automation: Python/Bash, YAML/JSON templating, REST integrations; pipeline-as-code/templates.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present technical information and represent the team at all levels.
Proven ability to build consensus with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of solutions that meet customer and business needs.
Broad understanding of product and technical landscapes to support an integrated delivery approach.
Ability to communicate and report on complex technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience applying Agile methodologies in large-scale environments (LeSS, SAFe, etc.).
Knowledge of software scanning tools like Sonarqube and BlackDuck.
Experience in leveraging data analysis tools (Elastic Search, Grafana, Splunk, Tableau, SQL, Python scripts) to gain insights.
Experience with a major cloud provider (AWS & GCP).
Experience with autoscaling CI agents and cost/performance tuning.
Scripting skills in PowerShell or Groovy
