Act as a senior business analyst with several years of experience (10+) in capital markets and trading software
Be an integral part of the design, implementation, and test team
Gather requirements by conducting workshops/one or one discussions with the business teams/SME's.
Analyze, evaluate, and verify requirements by working closely with other development ,verification team members & Business representatives.
Document the requirement in JIRA as User stories and provide proper acceptance criteria.
Create user stories , use cases and scenarios for the given requirements
Work and communicate in a cross-functional Global team comprised of BA, Developers, project managers and support representatives, etc.
Testing & confirming if the development is as per the of the features requested.
Proactively provide status, raise issues, and communicate necessary information to ITPL and/or appropriate team members on a regular basis via daily stand-up meetings, one-on-one meetings.
Participate in discussions and/or presentations
Facilitate and assist in the Story point estimation / task estimation process related to activities in an Agile Environment.
Must have
Good understanding of trading asset class like Securities , Equities , Derivatives, Options. Swaps, OTC trading etc
Exposure to Murex platform
SQL, Unix skills
Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills
Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter
Possess good verbal and written communication skills
Must have strong organization skills
Good product knowledge in IRD, CRD, EQD
Good understanding on P&L concept overall and its components
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally
Strong experience in supporting end-users and resolving their daily issues
Nice to have
BS or higher degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent
Implementations and upgrades: MXpress; MXplus updates and MX.3 main-branch upgrades
Interfaces (Market Data, C2.0)
Test management
Trade life cycle management
Market Data management
Knowledge in SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase) and Unix commands is a plus
