SAP BW/4HANA Consultant (ABAP Background)

We are seeking an experienced SAP BW/4HANA Consultant with a strong foundation in SAP ABAP. The project involves migrating, designing, and optimizing a next-generation enterprise data warehousing solution. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex data modeling in BW/4HANA and custom programmatic logic using ABAP and HANA native artifacts.
-Design, develop, and maintain data models in SAP BW/4HANA using LSA++ architecture.
-Write and optimize complex ABAP routines (start, end, expert, and field routines) within BW transformations.
-Develop ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) and Core Data Services (CDS) views to push down logic to the HANA database.
-Create and maintain HANA Calculation Views.
-Optimize data extraction, load, and transformation processes for high-volume data streams.
-Develop BEx/BW Queries for frontend reporting tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, PowerBI).
-Troubleshoot, debug, and perform performance tuning of BW/4HANA data flows and ABAP codes.
Must have
-SAP BW/4HANA: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in BW/4HANA data modeling (ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views).
-SAP ABAP: Strong, hands-on experience writing custom ABAP code specific to SAP BW (Transformations, User Exits, BADIs).
-HANA Push-down Logic: Proven experience developing AMDPs and ABAP CDS Views.
-HANA Native Modeling: Hands-on experience creating HANA Calculation Views (Graphical).
-Reporting: Experience building and optimizing SAP BW/BEx queries.
Nice to have
Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration.
Familiarity with OData services and SAP Fiori.
Prior experience with BW migration projects (BW on HANA to BW/4HANA).
Understanding of SAP FI/CO or SD/MM business processes and standard extractors.
