Currently we are growing for our Swedish customers and are looking for Automotive cloud engineer with knowledge in cloud infrastructure development to join our team. You will be part of our growing organization in Sweden and will be part of developing next generation systems for the Automotive industry in the era of connected, autonomous, electric vehicles.
Design, develop, and maintain C++ software for automotive systems with a strong focus on system safety
Candidates who can support in development of component adhering to functional safety standards
Contribute to system safety architecture, analysis, and implementation in compliance with automotive standards
Work with Vehicle Computation Units (VCU) and related embedded platforms
Analyze and debug communication issues using SOME/IP protocol and Wireshark
Collaborate with hardware, software, and system teams across the development lifecycle
Act as a technical leader, providing guidance, reviews, and best practices within the team
Communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Must have
The role demands a robust technical foundation supported by a degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Candidates must consistently demonstrate expertise in system safety within automotive or other safety-critical environments. Proven experience in C++ software development specifically for automotive applications is essential.
The position requires specialized knowledge of Vehicle Computation Units (VCUs) and a thorough understanding of the SOME/IP protocol. Candidates must be adept at using Wireshark for protocol debugging and analysis. In-depth familiarity with QNX Neutrino microkernel architecture is crucial, including process management, real-time scheduling, and inter-process communication (IPC). Experience working with QNX development tools, such as the Momentics IDE or comparable environments, is expected. A solid grasp of automotive software development methodologies and compliance with ISO 26262 functional safety standards is mandatory.
Hard skills:
Degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Proven expertise in system safety for automotive or safety-critical domains
C++ software development experience in automotive contexts
Specialized knowledge of Vehicle Computation Units
Proficiency with SOME/IP protocol and Wireshark for debugging
Deep understanding of QNX Neutrino architecture, including process management, real-time scheduling, and IPC
Experience with QNX development environments like Momentics IDE or equivalents
Knowledge of automotive software development principles and ISO 26262 functional safety standards

Nice to have
Preferably exposure to embedded Linux or AUTOSAR-based systems, indicating familiarity with these platforms.

Experience working in agile or scaled agile environments is advantageous, reflecting adaptability to iterative development processes.
