The Automotive practice inside DXC Luxoft delivers software projects to a majority of the world's car manufacturers and suppliers for both personal and commercial vehicles. We are known for our Automotive software expertise and for helping our customers with high quality services and deliveries. Currently we are growing for our Swedish customers and are looking for Automotive cloud engineer with knowledge in cloud infrastructure development to join our team. You will be part of our growing organization in Sweden and will be part of developing next generation systems for the Automotive industry in the era of connected, autonomous, electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain C++ software for automotive systems with a strong focus on system safety

bullet icon

Contribute to system safety architecture, analysis, and implementation in compliance with automotive standards

bullet icon

Work with Vehicle Computation Units (VCU) and related embedded platforms

bullet icon

Analyze and debug communication issues using SOME/IP protocol and Wireshark

bullet icon

Collaborate with hardware, software, and system teams across the development lifecycle

bullet icon

Act as a technical leader, providing guidance, reviews, and best practices within the team

bullet icon

Communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

B.Sc. or higher in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

bullet icon

Regular-level system safety competence within automotive or safety‑critical domains

bullet icon

Regular experience as a C++ software developer in automotive environments

bullet icon

Proven experience working with Vehicle Computation Units (VCU)

bullet icon

Solid understanding of SOME/IP protocol and hands-on experience with

bullet icon

Wireshark for debugging and analysis

bullet icon

Excellent leadership and communication skills

bullet icon

Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset

bullet icon

Proven experience in automotive software development

Nice to have

Optional experience with automotive safety standards, such as ISO 26262, demonstrating knowledge of compliance requirements.

Preferably exposure to embedded Linux or AUTOSAR-based systems, indicating familiarity with these platforms.

Optional system-level integration and validation experience, showing ability to oversee end-to-end system functionality.

Experience working in agile or scaled agile environments is advantageous, reflecting adaptability to iterative development processes.
