Business Analyst required to support the delivery of Risk Metrics to FraimWrx PFE and adoption. This will be a role within the Business Analyst team servicing Risk technology related projects.


Role is required to enable MUSA to migrate risk systems and credit risk methodology change. The role will sit in technology and be responsible for implementing PFE and intraday/eod credit risk monitoring. Key Tasks will be to ensure the product mapping on FraimWRX and CR is correct for PV and RISK, new product testing with RAG, product maps and heavy involvement in Unit testing and e2e testing.

Responsibilities

The BA will provide subject matter expertise and knowledge on Compliance processes and systems and work across complex projects for Compliance stakeholders. Business analysts are typically involved in all phases of the project life cycle, working closely with both the business users and the technology staff facilitating a clear understanding of the solution being delivered. This includes:

Performing requirements gathering and compiling formal Business Requirements & Functional Specification, Target Operating Model and Technical Design Overview documents. Seeking and gaining approvals for any such documentation

Covering all aspects of Business Analyst engagement throughout the Project Development Lifecycle including but not limited to:

Formulating and presenting proposed solutions to the business users

bullet icon

Formulating testing approaches and compiling test plans and test cases

bullet icon

Performing system integration testing and supporting business users with user acceptance testing

bullet icon

Compiling and presenting test results

bullet icon

Completing project/workstream status reports

bullet icon

Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored

bullet icon

Escalating issues/risks to project/line management

bullet icon

Providing subject matter expertise to support TEC initiatives, as required e.g. presenting solutions to other parts of the organisation

General technical awareness of application upgrades, integration & infrastructure dependencies

bullet icon

Skills

Must have

MUST HAVE at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Quant Risk Functional / Technical Competencies:

THE BANK counterparty credit risk uses an advanced model for PFE so the BA needs to be quantitative and familiar with these advanced tools.

THE BANK use a vendor based calculation engine, S&P Global and FraimWRX (formerly known as Quic) and that although prior experience using FraimWRX is desirable similar hands on experience with other vendor or proprietary pricing and risk engines is acceptable .

Strong business analysis skills and project lifecycle knowledge

Knowledge/experience of gathering business requirements and compiling business requirements documents and functional specifications

Ability to define and structure test plans, experience of guiding users through UAT phases

Ability and experience of working under pressure

Konwledge of investment banking

Strong background in implementing a PFE solution for Interest rate, FX and Credit products.

Knowledge of key Credit risk topics. A Minimum of 5 years experience woking in these domains.
