Responsibilities
bullet icon

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using TypeScript/JavaScript.

bullet icon

Build and execute end-to-end web UI tests using Playwright.

bullet icon

Work closely with Product Managers to refine and validate acceptance criteria for new features.

bullet icon

Write and manage test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.

bullet icon

Use test case management tools such as qTest or similar platforms to organize and track test coverage.

bullet icon

Manually test new features (where not yet automated) prior to production release.

bullet icon

Conduct web performance testing using tools like Artillery.

bullet icon

Debug and analyze issues using Chrome DevTools or other browser based tools.

bullet icon

Utilize Datadog Synthetics or similar tools for synthetic monitoring.

bullet icon

Monitor application health and performance using Datadog and other observability tools.

bullet icon

Apply in depth knowledge of QA methodologies, including test planning, risk analysis, and defect management.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to define test strategies and ensure high quality releases.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Work within AWS or similar cloud environments to support scalable testing infrastructure.

Skills

Must have

Required Skills:

bullet icon

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

bullet icon

6+ years in software QA, especially web application testing.

bullet icon

Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript.

bullet icon

Experience with Playwright (preferred), and other web testing frameworks.

bullet icon

Familiarity with AWS services (CodeBuild, CodePipeline, S3).

bullet icon

Experience setting up QA processes and leading the team.

bullet icon

CI/CD pipeline and automated testing tool experience.

bullet icon

Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills.

bullet icon

Basic RESTful API knowledge.

Nice to have

Financial services industry experience is a plus.
