Responsibilities

The Technical Lead will oversee the technical strategy and execution of fintech projects, managing a distributed team of Python developers and ensuring seamless delivery on AWS infrastructure. This role merges technical leadership, people management, and client communication, requiring a proactive and empathetic approach to both technology and team development.

Lead and coordinate a remote development team across multiple time zones to deliver high-quality fintech software solutions.

Oversee project architecture, development, deployment, and performance optimization using Python and AWS.

Ensure robust, scalable, and secure system design aligned with fintech industry standards and compliance requirements.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular progress updates and strategic technical insights.

Conduct regular performance reviews, one-on-one check-ins, and mood monitoring to foster engagement and well-being within the team.

Skills

Must have

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.

Proven expertise in Python development (Django, FastAPI, Flask, or equivalent).

Solid experience with AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, RDS or similar services).

Previous experience leading distributed or cross-cultural engineering teams.

Strong communication skills and ability to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated success delivering fintech systems (e.g., payment gateways, banking APIs, compliance tools).

Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).
