The project involves implementing and optimizing Temenos Payments Hub (TPH) and Temenos Transact core banking modules to support EMEA and UK payment schemes. The expert will design and configure SEPA and UK payments workflows, ensure compliance with PSD2 and other regulatory mandates, and provide functional guidance across the entire payments lifecycle — from initiation to settlement. The role also covers integrating TPH with Transact modules like Securities, Loans, Deposits, and Arrangement Architecture, enabling a modern, compliant, and efficient payments ecosystem for the bank's Core Technology team

Responsibilities
bullet icon

Act as the subject matter expert for SEPA (SCT, SDD, SCT Inst) and UK (Faster Payments, Bacs, CHAPS, RTGS) payment schemes.

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and convert them into functional TPH configurations and specifications.

Perform hands-on TPH configuration, including setup of payment products, rules, and parameters.

Drive functional testing (SIT/UAT) and support QA teams to ensure robust, compliant payment processing.

Ensure compliance with PSD2, ISO 20022, SWIFT standards, and latest SEPA rulebook updates.

Provide stakeholder management, collaborating with product, compliance, technical, and operations teams.

Deliver functional support and troubleshooting for live production issues to minimize disruption.

Maintain functional/process documentation and provide workshops & training for business users.

Contribute expertise in Temenos Transact modules (Securities, Loans, Deposits, Arrangement Architecture, Structured Products).

Must have

Temenos Payments Hub (TPH): Proven experience in functional configuration, implementation, and optimization.

SEPA & UK Payments Expertise: Hands-on knowledge of SEPA Credit Transfer, SEPA Direct Debit, SEPA Instant, Faster Payments, Bacs, CHAPS, and RTGS.

Payment Standards: Strong understanding of ISO 20022, SWIFT formats, and regulatory mandates (PSD2, SEPA rulebooks).

Payment Processing Lifecycle: Deep expertise in initiation, validation, routing, clearing, and settlement, including self-clearing.

Temenos Transact Modules: Knowledge of core banking modules (Securities, Loans, Deposits, Arrangement Architecture, Structured Products).

Technical Environment: Familiarity with TAFJ, Oracle/Postgres, JBoss, and integration frameworks.
