Support clients in the operation, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle Cerner EHR environments. This role is designed for early-career professionals who are eager to grow their technical skills in healthcare IT while working under the mentorship of experienced consultants and technical leaders. You will gain hands-on exposure to Cerner infrastructure, system workflows, and healthcare technology best practices while contributing to meaningful client outcomes.
Monitor Cerner/Oracle Health clinical environments (health of apps, interfaces, jobs, performance).
Set up dashboards, alerts, and synthetic checks for key workflows.
Handle Sev1/Sev2 incidents, troubleshoot quickly, coordinate with teams/vendors.
Do RCA/PIR and drive corrective/preventive actions.
Improve reliability using SRE concepts (SLOs, SLIs, automation, reducing alert noise).
Maintain runbooks, follow change control, ensure compliance.

Knowledge of Cerner/Oracle Health modules & clinical workflows.
Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace/AppD/New Relic/Splunk/Grafana).
Strong incident response & troubleshooting skills.
Basics of Linux, networking, logs, Oracle DB concepts.
Scripting (Shell/Python) for basic automation.
Good communication during incidents.
Nice to have
SRE practices: SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, auto-remediation.
Cloud monitoring (Azure/AWS).
ITIL understanding (Incident/Problem/Change).
Healthcare standards knowledge (HIPAA, audit processes).
