Project description

The project aims to implement Murex as the strategic derivatives trading platform for Aluminium derivatives, Alumina derivatives and EUA futures used for financial carbon hedging. The program follows a two-phase delivery approach.

During Phase 1, Murex will be deployed as the Front Office trading, pricing, valuation, and position management platform while CTTS remains the system of record.

Phase 2 will establish the target-state operating model, making Murex the system of record and implementing downstream integrations with SAP, Quantum, FX Manager, EDMS and enterprise reporting platforms.

The implementation includes:

Murex platform deployment and configuration
Commodity derivative product setup
Market data integration with ZEMA
Trade execution integration with Broadridge
Transitional CTTS integration
Data migration and reconciliation
Front Office go-live support
Phase 2 accounting and operational rollout
Enterprise integration architecture delivery
System, integration, UAT and performance testing
Production deployment and hypercare support

Responsibilities

Define the overall technical process to load trades from Golden Source into Murex.

To create MxML Exchange Worklfows to load trades into Murex. Need to manage the error processing.

Needs to build the reconciliation process

To create Datamart reports from Murex.

To read the files from Golden Source and reconcile them with the data within Murex.

To write scripts (Python, Unix, Java) to be able to execute reconciliation.

Skills

Must have

Experience working in the financial industry with relevant experience in business analysis and project implementation.

10+ Years experience of Test Execution and Management

Functional Knowledge should encompass most or all of the following asset classes: Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX Cash, FX Derivatives, Commodities, Structured Derivatives

The candidate should carry a minimum relevant work experience in a Bank or I.T. Company for a minimum of 5-7 years.
