A leading European bank is expanding its Murex support and change capability. We are seeking an experienced Murex Production Support Consultant with strong expertise in front office and exposure to Commodities and other derivative products. The consultant will play a key role in supporting Front Office trading operations, driving functional enhancements, resolving complex production issues, and acting as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.
The role involves close collaboration with traders, sales teams, business analysts, technology teams, and senior stakeholders across onshore and offshore locations. The successful candidate will be expected to provide functional leadership, contribute to strategic initiatives, and ensure stability and continuous improvement of the Murex platform.

Responsibilities

Act as a senior member of the Murex Change and Support team supporting Front Office business functions.

Serve as the primary functional point of contact for Front Office users, traders, and business stakeholders.

Collaborate with client and Luxoft teams across onshore and offshore locations to deliver support and change initiatives.

Analyze, document, and translate complex business requirements into Murex solutions.

Provide expert support for Murex Front Office workflows across FX, Commodities, and derivative products.

bullet icon

Investigate and resolve complex production issues related to trade capture, pricing, risk, market data, and trade lifecycle events.

bullet icon

Drive incident, problem, and change management activities while ensuring compliance with banking standards and SLAs.

bullet icon

Support business-critical activities including market openings, trading support, and regulatory or operational change initiatives.

bullet icon

Perform impact analysis for new business requirements and system enhancements.

bullet icon

Mentor junior consultants and provide functional leadership within the support team.

Work closely with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams to deliver sustainable solutions and platform improvements.

Skills

Must have

10+ years of experience working on Murex platforms in Support, Business Analysis, Change, or Front Office-facing roles.

bullet icon

Strong functional expertise in FX products including Spot, Forward, Swap, NDF, FX Options, and related trade lifecycle processes.

bullet icon

Good exposure to Commodities products and associated business workflows.

bullet icon

Strong understanding of Front Office trading operations, pricing, risk management, P&L, and trade lifecycle management.

Extensive hands-on experience with Murex modules including:

MRE/MRE VAR

Realtime Processing

Market Data Configuration

Trade Workflows and Lifecycle Events

Strong troubleshooting and production support experience in complex Murex environments.

Excellent knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and capital markets products.

Strong SQL skills for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting.

Strong Unix/Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.

Experience supporting RHEL environments, Java processes, and middleware components.

Experience with batch scheduling and monitoring tools such as Control-M and Control-M AFT.

Strong understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Management processes within investment banking environments.

Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Exposure to AWS Cloud environments.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
