ITT (Investment Trading Technology) team supports T&M (Treasury and Markets) and is looking for the right candidate to support Murex 3.1 applications. Murex is one of the leading applications in the areas of global trading, risk management and trade processing and we using it cross asset classes, Front to Risk to Back in a setup with multiple production environments and grids, connections to many upstream and downstream systems. This challenging role provides unique opportunity to support a community of hundreds of regional users belonging to Front-Office, Operations, Finance, Credit & Market Risk and Limits Management. In this dynamic environment the team will also strive to improve the system stability through continuous improvement and participate into the ambitious pipeline of projects

Responsibilities

To track and be responsible for providing optimum service levels for day-to-day production support.

Able to write scripts using shell/ Python, etc., for monitoring, system troubleshooting, and maintenance operations.

To collaborate with third party vendor/other support teams to provide a seamless support model for the business.

Experience working in Elastic Search for logging, monitor systems & services.

Understanding the CI/CD pipeline, deployment process to assist in rolling out of new version of the application adhering to the best practices of the release management procedures.

Able to take ownership of high-severity issues and follow through to closure, answerable to business users and provide strategic long term solutions and participate in RCA and provide pre-emptive solutions for production stability.

To be able to drive himself/herself to learn new things while dealing with daily production support.

Skills

Must have

4 to 6 years of experience in Murex infrastructure, architecture, Cloud, SQL, Unix Shell scripting, Linux, Knowledge of Murex application

Supporting VAR module

bullet icon

Experience in Murex application support/development

bullet icon

Creation of VAR M reports, VAR viewers, MRE & MRA configuration and analyzing the issues on historical VAR, Datamart

Providing production support on the issues related to EOD failure, report failure, VAR EOD failures

bullet icon

Able to debug issues in SQL, shell scripts

bullet icon

Able to write Linux/Unix shell scripts, SQL

bullet icon

Problem-solving skills to solve day-to-day BAU issues

Murex UAT environments setup and troubleshoot issues
