One of our client (a leading bank of Singapore) is undertaking a strategic upgrade of its Murex MX.3 platform to enhance system resilience, support new product capabilities, and align with evolving regulatory and operational requirements.
This initiative includes upgrading from version 3.1.42.48b to 3.1.6x.x, onboarding the EQA and OSP Excess modules, and implementing comprehensive reconciliation, testing automation, and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Support senior BAs in collecting and documenting reconciliation-related requirements from business stakeholders across Front Office, Risk, and Back Office functions.

Participate in workshops, user interviews, and requirement walkthroughs.

bullet icon

Help in analyzing reconciliation outputs between Murex upgrade versions.

bullet icon

Assist in preparing detailed functional specifications for system configuration or development based on business needs.

bullet icon

Keep track of test cases, issues, reconciliation results, and explanations in structured formats (e.g., Excel, Confluence, SharePoint).

bullet icon

Work closely with testing teams, developers, and configuration teams to support issue resolution and delivery timelines.

Learn Murex modules, financial products, and reconciliation methodologies to grow into more independent BA responsibilities.

Skills

Must have

0.5 to 2 years of work experience, ideally in Murex projects or any other financial systems.

bullet icon

Exposure to Murex platform (ideally Mx 3.1), with basic knowledge.

bullet icon

Willingness and ability to learn deeper Murex functionalities through hands-on experience and training.

Basic understanding of reconciliation objectives during system upgrades or migrations.

bullet icon

Ability to identify discrepancies in financial data and assist in root cause analysis under guidance.

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams (e.g., Testing, Development, Business).

Take ownership of tasks with minimal follow-up.

Understanding of test cases, execution, and issue tracking related to reconciliation outputs.

Exposure to using tools like Excel, JIRA, or ALM for test execution and defect management.

Ability to maintain logs, reconciliation results, and root cause repositories.

Familiarity with tools like Confluence, SharePoint, or Google Workspace.
