The project aims to implement Murex as the strategic derivatives trading platform for Glencore's Aluminium business, covering Aluminium derivatives, Alumina derivatives and EUA futures used for financial carbon hedging. The program follows a two-phase delivery approach.
During Phase 1, Murex will be deployed as the Front Office trading, pricing, valuation, and position management platform while CTTS remains the system of record.
Phase 2 will establish the target-state operating model, making Murex the system of record and implementing downstream integrations with SAP, Quantum, FX Manager, EDMS and enterprise reporting platforms.
The implementation includes:
Murex platform deployment and configuration
Commodity derivative product setup
Market data integration with ZEMA
Trade execution integration with Broadridge
Transitional CTTS integration
Data migration and reconciliation
Front Office go-live support
Phase 2 accounting and operational rollout
Enterprise integration architecture delivery
System, integration, UAT and performance testing
Production deployment and hypercare support
Integration Architecture
Design the end-to-end Murex integration architecture using MXML Exchange
Define interface design standards and integration patterns.
Ensure scalability and maintainability of all interfaces.
Drive architecture decisions across Phase 1 and Phase 2
Data & Reconciliation
Define interface mapping specifications.
Establish reconciliation controls and monitoring processes.
Design exception management procedures.
Support migration and data validation activities.
Must have
10+ years Murex integration experience.
Deep expertise with MxML Exchange and Murex integration frameworks.
Extensive experience with MX.3 Integration Hub.
Experience integrating Murex with trading, risk, accounting and treasury platforms.
Strong knowledge of message-based and API-based integration patterns.
Experience with market data integration platforms including ZEMA.
Strong XML, JSON and data mapping expertise.
Experience designing reconciliation and exception-management frameworks.
Understanding of enterprise integration architecture and middleware solutions.
Experience delivering complex migration and system-of-record transition programmes.
Strong SQL, Oracle and data analysis capabilities.
